Montessori School Beijing ("MSB", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use this website (msb.edu.cn and m.msb.edu.cn), and what rights you have.

1. Information We Collect and Why

• Contact / inquiry forms: your name, phone number, email address, city and message, used solely to respond to your inquiry.
• Alumni / subscription forms: your name, email, country, city and graduation year, used solely for alumni communications and the updates you subscribe to.
• Online admissions: the application process is completed on a third-party platform (openapply.cn); information you submit there is handled by that provider under its own privacy policy. We only receive the application results necessary for the admissions process.
• Server logs: for website security, the server automatically records technical log data such as IP address, browser type, access time and requested pages. This is not used to identify individuals.

We do not proactively collect any other personal information. Personal information of children under 14 is processed only with the consent of their parents or guardians.

2. Use and Sharing

We use your personal information only for the purposes stated in this policy. We never sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties, except: (a) with your explicit consent; (b) with processors who need it to handle your inquiry or application and are bound by confidentiality obligations; or (c) where required by law or by competent authorities.

3. Storage and Security

Your personal information is stored on servers located within the People's Republic of China. We apply HTTPS encrypted transmission, access control and protected admin logins to prevent data leakage, tampering or loss. We keep your personal information only for the shortest period necessary to fulfil the purposes above; you may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies only for essential functions such as session maintenance and language preference. We do not perform cross-site profiling or advertising tracking. You may block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which may affect some features.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, copy, correct, supplement or delete your personal information, to withdraw any consent you have given, and to request that we explain this policy.
