Virtues are universally valued by all cultures. All parents support having their children develop the integrity of their character. Here at MSB, we aim to inspire the courage, honor, justice, and compassion of our students.
In the month of October, our Early Childhood students are exploring the virtue of Friendliness, Elementary students Acceptance and Tolerance, and Middle School Empathy.
Quotes from students this week:
- “Virtues is what is good about us.”
- “Empathy is important if you want to make and keep friends.”
Join the conversation. Ask your children what they have learnt in Health and Wellbeing, Virtues, education. To quote the wisdom of the great Chinese Philosopher, Lao Tzu:
“Cultivate Virtue in your person, and Virtue will be genuine.
Cultivate Virtue in the family, and Virtue will flourish.
Cultivate Virtue in the village, and Virtue will spread.
Cultivate Virtue in the nation, and Virtue will be abundant.
Cultivate Virtue in the world, and Virtue will triumph everywhere.”
