One thing this pandemic has taught all of us is that change is constant and you have to be nimble and move with changing circumstances. If we are rigid in our thinking, daily stress is not far behind. The ability observed and revered in many in these challenging times is the ability to “focus on the things you can control and let go of the rest.” This is easier said than done but when you link the calming thought with an action like deep breathing and a mantra on exhale “Let it go,” repeat “Let it go” then calmness and clarity prevail.
These are the times for positive affirmations, flexibility, and connection.
If last week I wrote about the Kids as unsung heroes, surely their parents are right up there keeping them company.
