The International Montessori School of Beijing is privileged to host two archaeologists from the Harvard Art Museums to share their insights on selected exhibits with our Grades 3 & 4 students online.
Jen Thum, who is an Egyptologist & Archaeologist at the museum, will talk about Egyptian collections with Grade 3 children on June 26. Students can also ask questions about being an Egyptologist.
On June 29, our Grade 4s will get to discuss Roman exhibits, history and on being an Romanologist with Ancient Rome Specialist, Frances Gallart Marques.
Our Grades 3 and 4 students have been studying these topics in class, and will be getting first-hand accounts from experts in this field.
It is a great opportunity to explore ancient Egypt and Rome archaeology and history. To learn more about the exhibits, please check the website of the museum here https://www.harvardartmuseums.org/
